May and June Ministry Update
The months of May and June were filled with incredible opportunities to share the Gospel. The two Photos above are from the Ocean City Outreach. The first is the beautiful sand sculptures, and the second is me praying with a group of students who now know Jesus in their hearts.
May began with my participation in the National Day of Prayer event in Towson, Maryland. Following that, I had several fruitful opportunities to evangelize at Towson University and Millersville University.
The main outreach event in June took place in Ocean City, Maryland, from June 1–20. I was part of a mission team of 30 men focused on sharing the love of Christ with students and vacationers. During the 12 days I was there, I personally shared the Gospel with approximately 400 people, giving each of them a Gospel bracelet. By God’s grace, over 20% of those I spoke with responded by putting their trust in Jesus!
In addition to personal conversations, I distributed:
- 120 Gospel Harmonies
- Over 100 Gospels of John
- Hundreds of Falling Plates wristbands
As a team, over the course of the full 20-day mission, we collectively gave out:
- 1,200 Gospels of John
- 2,220 Gospel Harmonies
- 14,000 Falling Plates wristbands www.fallingplates.com
We estimate that over 14,000 students and vacationers encountered God in a meaningful way during this outreach.
