Summer is officially here!
The days are longer, the weather is warmer, and everywhere you look people are enjoying this wonderful season. It's the time of year for shorts and summer clothes, graduations, weddings, family vacations, backyard cookouts, camping trips, and days spent at the beach, in the mountains, by the lake, or wherever people go to enjoy God's beautiful creation.
For those of us who know Christ, summer is much more than a season of recreation—it is a season of incredible opportunity. As people gather at festivals, fairs, sporting events, beaches, parks, and boardwalks, countless doors open to share the hope of the Gospel. Hearts are often more open, conversations come more naturally, and every encounter becomes an opportunity to point someone to Jesus Christ. The Lord has certainly kept Feet on the Street Ministries busy! It has been an exciting and fruitful season of ministry, and we've only just finished the month of June. I continue to stand in awe of God's faithfulness as He opens doors that only He can open and allows us to share His love with people from every walk of life.
I'd love to share some of the ways God has been at work through Feet on the Street Ministries since my last newsletter. Thank you for your faithful prayers, encouragement, and support. You are an important part of every conversation, every Gospel presentation, and every life touched for Christ. Together, we are fulfilling the Great Commission—one person at a time.

One very special hat. Continue reading below for details.
May Highlights
May began with my regular street ministry, sharing the Gospel on street corners and college campuses. Because I was recovering from carpal tunnel surgery, my outreach activities were a little more limited during the first couple of weeks. But as we all know, God's work is never limited by our circumstances! Even while healing, the Lord continued to provide opportunities to share the Good News with many people.
Our food ministry in Baltimore continued as scheduled, thanks to the faithful members of our team who stepped in to help with the lifting that I couldn't do. It was another wonderful day of serving, praying with people, and watching the Lord encourage and comfort many who were hurting. It is always amazing to see how God uses a simple act of kindness to open doors for conversations about Jesus.
Toward the end of May, Liz and I traveled to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, for a much-needed time of rest, refreshment, and spiritual renewal. We spent four wonderful days with many Christian brothers and sisters attending the Gather Family Fest—a beautiful time filled with worship, prayer, fellowship, and encouragement. We left spiritually refreshed and thankful for many new friendships the Lord brought into our lives.
Of course, God wasn't finished giving us ministry opportunities!
As we were walking through downtown Gatlinburg, we spotted something that immediately caught our attention—a store simply called "The Trump Store." Well...our curiosity got the best of us. We just had to go inside!
Sure enough, if it had President Trump's name or picture on it, they probably sold it—shirts, hats, posters, challenge coins...you name it! But what surprised us even more was the large selection of Christian-themed merchandise.
Before long we were talking with the young man and another lady working there. Within just a few minutes we discovered they were both strong believers who loved the Lord. What started as casual conversation quickly turned into Christian fellowship. We shared Gospel bracelets and tracts with them, prayed together, and before we knew it, we had made new friends.
Now comes the fun part.
Liz had been looking for one particular hat that pictured a golden ticket with the words, "Do You Have Your Ticket?" Many of you know that we've used that very question as a Gospel conversation starter for some time now. It naturally leads into sharing the "Ticket to Heaven" through faith in Jesus Christ.
The young man, Jacob, was convinced they had one somewhere. He searched high and low but couldn't find it. "Come back tomorrow," he said. "I'll keep looking."
The next day we returned...but Jacob wasn't there.
Instead, another employee greeted us—and he turned out to be another believer! He smiled and said, "Jacob is working at the other store today."
Wait...there's another Trump Store?
Apparently there was! Joshua was contacted, and now there were 2 believers searching two stores for one elusive hat. We were told to check back again because they were determined to find it.
Finally, on the morning we were leaving to head home, we stopped one last time. I dropped Liz off because there wasn't a parking space to be found, then drove a half block away and waited with the engine idling.
About thirty minutes later, I saw Liz walking toward the car with the biggest smile on her face.
She held up...the hat!
After all that searching, Jacob had found it!
We were thrilled—not just because of the hat, but because of the friendships God had established along the way. Before leaving, we gave them additional Gospel bracelets to thank them for their kindness and their desire to share Christ with others. After arriving home, I mailed them another 25 bracelets so they could continue using them in ministry.
What began as a simple stop out of curiosity became another reminder that God is always arranging divine appointments. Sometimes He uses a street corner...sometimes a food ministry...and sometimes He even uses a hat in a store to connect His people for the work of the Gospel.
It was a wonderful ending to an unforgettable trip, and we're excited to see how God will continue to use these new friendships for His glory

June Highlights
June was an incredible month filled with opportunities to proclaim the Gospel and witness God at work!
The month began with a wonderful Faith Night at WellSpan Park in York, Pennsylvania, home of the York Revolution baseball team. The event was sponsored by the Revolution Ball Club. Many faithful ministry partners and other ministries brought together Christian musicians, churches, and outreach ministries from across the area for an evening centered on faith in Jesus Christ.
It was a joy to worship together as we joined in prayer and sang both the National Anthem and God Bless America. Throughout the evening, our team had the privilege of sharing the Gospel with approximately 170 people, and by God's grace 12 individuals placed their faith in Jesus Christ. What a blessing it was to see lives changed by the power of the Gospel!
Then came an unexpected twist.
Just two weeks later, the York Revolution made national headlines when approximately 20 players chose not to wear special Pride-themed uniforms, believing that doing so would violate their Christian convictions. Their decision resulted in the team forfeiting the game.
Whether or not everyone agrees with their decision, I was encouraged by the courage these players displayed in standing by their biblical convictions. They did not respond with anger or hostility but sought to honor the Lord while treating others with dignity and respect. Standing for Christ in today's culture often comes at a cost, and they reminded us that following Jesus sometimes requires great courage.
Later in the month, I traveled to Ocean City, Maryland, to serve alongside a team of 20 men and 2 women during the annual Senior Week outreach. For two exciting weeks, our team spread out across the boardwalk and beach, using every opportunity to share the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Thousands of students and vacationers heard the Gospel through open-air preaching, Gospel bead bracelets, boardwalk signs, one-on-one conversations, and many other creative outreach methods. The energy was incredible, but even more exciting was seeing God open hearts to His truth.
Personally, I had the privilege of sharing the Gospel with approximately 350 students and beachgoers, and by God's grace about 70 people made professions of faith in Christ. Every conversation reminded me that no one is beyond the reach of God's love and that the Gospel is still "the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes" (Romans 1:16).
As I look back on June, I am overwhelmed by God's faithfulness. From a baseball stadium in Pennsylvania to the busy boardwalk of Ocean City, the Lord continued to open doors, prepare hearts, and remind us that His Word never returns void. Thank you for your faithful prayers and support. You are an important part of every Gospel conversation and every life that is touched for Christ.
As always, thank you for your faithful prayers and generous support. Your partnership makes these outreach opportunities possible and allows countless people to hear the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Please continue to pray that the seeds planted through these conversations will take deep root and bear lasting fruit for God's Kingdom.
