October Ministry Recap: Finishing Fair Season Strong!

Our fall fair outreach wrapped up with an incredible week at the North Carolina State Fair in Raleigh, NC—a massive event that draws nearly one million visitors each year!

Partnering with many dedicated volunteers from our sponsoring ministry, we had the amazing opportunity to share the Gospel with more than 4,700 fairgoers. Even more exciting, 622 people responded in a prayer of repentance! Praise God!

Throughout the week, we witnessed countless stories of God’s grace at work. One that especially touched my heart was about a wonderful woman in her 60s whom I had the privilege of speaking with.

As we talked, she opened up about a lifelong struggle with doubts about her salvation—doubts that began when she was just 13 years old at a Christian camp. At that time, she was told that if she didn’t get baptized during the camp, she would go to hell. Feeling pressured, she was baptized—but ever since, that experience had left her with deep distress and uncertainty about her faith.

As she shared her story, I could sense how heavily it had weighed on her heart all these years. The Lord prompted me to lead her in a simple, sincere prayer of repentance—a genuine moment between her and God. We prayed together, and both of us were moved to tears as she opened her heart fully to Him.

I encouraged her to consider being baptized again—not because she had to, but because she wanted to—as a personal expression of love and devotion to God. After we prayed, she told me she finally felt completely renewed and at peace for the first time in nearly fifty years.

That moment was such a powerful reminder that God is still in the business of changing hearts and restoring lives.

Throughout October, I also continued weekly evangelism on street corners and college campuses across Pennsylvania, and participated in a food giveaway for the homeless in Baltimore, Maryland. Each of these opportunities was another chance to meet people from all walks of life and share God’s love in a real and tangible way.

Praise God for His mighty work in so many hearts this month!
